3. How to know with which level of power of vacuum cleaner to use?
The maximum recommended power is 1500W. We would recommend using the device reasonably. Due to the fact the blow effect is constant; you have the chance to check the intensity of blow before usage. Use the lower volume for little babies and increase the power with the age of child.

5. From which age is the Nasal Vacuum (Nasensauger-Staubsauger) to apply ?
>From 0, practically, from the birth, in case your baby has her nose full of secretion. Don't forget that newborns and babies can only breathe through their noses. It takes some time for them to learn how to properly breathe through their mouths. In addition, babies and young children are generally unable to blow their noses in their early years. Failure therefore to keep the nose free and clean can cause serious breathing problems for babies and significant discomfort for young children.
6. and how long/till which age to be used?
In principle, till 6 year old or as long as your child cannot do it him/herself. Children are different, they can learn the technique some time between 3,5 and 6.
7. Is it the procedure painful for a child?
No, as the pressure of vacuum cleaner is reduced tremendously to the level of normal nose blowing. Furthermore, we advise to purchase the NS only for those families who can steer the power of vacuum cleaner. Before usage you have the chance to check the blowing power by testing it on your hand. We recommend using the help of vacuum cleaner reasonably. When the child is smaller, use the less power, when the child is bigger and stronger, you can increase the power till the max. recommended 1500 W.
8. How many times per day should the NS be used?
As often, as you would have used the Kleenex otherwise. Basically, as many times as you feel the necessity to clean the nose from secretion in order to provide normal breathing.
9. What to do if the child is afraid of vacuum cleaner?
Children have their characters practically, already from the moment of birth. They will try to demonstrate to you in any possible situation what they "don't want to be done to them". Some children cannot even stand their noses to be wiped. There are some children that from certain age start fighting even against their Pampers (use the general word) to be changed. The most important thing is to find the trick how to avoid the negative attitude of your child to the procedure, raise his the curiosity. Don't scare the child from the first occastion. If you grab the child and stick something into his nose, even a piece of chocolate, your child would not like it at all. Start treatment with playing. Prepare the device, switch on the vacuum cleaner, show the child on your hand first, that there is nothing dramatic happening, then, motivate him/her to try it with his/her hand. The child will be intricked. The very good trick is to put some of the favourite toys next to the child and demonstrate the treatment on them. The child will find it funny. At the moment when his/her attention is redirected on other thing, you can quickly perform the procedure. The procedure lasts for max. 2 seconds to remove the secretion from the nose. After you have already repeated the same procedure for several times - without, obviously for the child, any dramatic experiences and negative effects, your child will be more relaxed with the device and the entire procedure.
10. Is the procedure sterile enough?
It's not necessary to have the whole device sterile. It's sufficient to sterile the part "A", that comes directly on the nose. After constant usage you can wash the whole device with the antibacterial washing liquid.
